Training for Gap Year Expeditions

TRAILQUEST have recently completed a training course for a long distance cyclist. Having just completed a degree at the University of Durham Harold Evans is taking a year off to undertake a  cycling expedition riding from Patagonia to Alaska in 2010. Featured in a Daily Telegraph supplement on GAP year activities the course covered essential expedition skills including wilderness camping, survival skills, hazard awareness, personal security, navigation and First Aid.

With many students undertaking long trips abroad on their own TRAILQUEST has designed a course that will teach the essential skill needed to get the most out of their experience whilst, at the same time, enhancing their safety.

Further details and film can be found on the Daily Telegraph website - www.telegraph.co.uk
