TRAILQUEST NEWS
ICELAND EXPEDITION
The most recent Trail Quest expedition saw a team of five complete a circumnavigation and double crossing of the interior of Iceland. Recognised as one of the most remote areas of Europe the motorcycle team, with Land Rover support completed the challenge in three weeks.
Conditions ranged from fine black sand in the interior to hard rocks, gravel and ice. Rain fell for most of the trip making river crossings challenging and dangerous. In the end the 2000km trip was completed with only minor problems and was deemed a great success. In addition to the adventure Trail Quest also raised over £2k for the NSPCC.
