EXPEDITION TO MOROCCO - LAUNCH PARTY

The next major Trailquest expedition was officially launched in early January at the premises of Ocean BMW Plymouth.

Heading to Morocco in early July the team will be searching for the remains of long abandoned Foreign Legion forts in the Atlas Mountains. Material gathered will appear in a book due out in 2009 and will be on display at the Foreign Legion museum at Aubagne near Marseilles.

Trailquest Director, Richard Jeynes, said "This will be one of the most difficult expeditions we have undertaken due to the terrain and heat. It is a complete contrast from the ice and cold we experienced in Iceland last time!"

As well as the academic and challenging sides of the trip the team are also raising money for the charity Motorcycle Outreach which is a small charity delivering vital medical supplies to remote villages in the Third World.
