EXPEDITIONS

Trailquest organises expeditions in the UK and abroad. The UK based expeditions will last between 3-6 days dependent on location and attendance on one of these is a very good way of preparing for a longer, more demanding expedition abroad at a later date.

Expeditions abroad will last between two - three weeks (sometimes longer) depending on the destination. We have run expeditions to Iceland, Norway, Spain and Morocco but are always looking at new destinations.

The Viking Trail expeditions are run by us in Iceland. Crossing the vast wilderness of the interior of Iceland is a genuine off road experience and one not easily replicated elsewhere in the world.

At present we are also investigating the possibility of undertaking an expedition to Ethiopia. The Napier Trail will be an arduous journey through the mountains of Northern Ethiopia.

Our expeditions are genuine journeys to remote areas. You will travel in small groups with Land Rover support. You will camp rough, travel off and on road and become self sufficient during the trip.You will certainly have the experience of a lifetime and make new friends.

Whilst previous experience is not essential you will need to be physically fit. Trailquest can provide pre expedition training ( essential for some expeditions) and we reserve the right to request that applicants have a medical ( at their expense) prior to final confirmation of a place.
